From October 16 to 18, 2026, Megève will come alive to the rhythm of alpine gastronomy for the 9th edition of Toquicimes. For three days, chefs, producers, artisans and food lovers gather in the heart of the village to celebrate a mountain cuisine that is generous, authentic and resolutely contemporary.

Born in 2018 on the initiative of Emmanuel Renaut, three-Michelin-starred chef of Flocons de Sel, in partnership with the town of Megève, Toquicimes has established itself over the editions as an unmissable event for mountain gastronomy in Megève.

The 2026 edition will explore a particularly timely question: what if mountain cuisine already held some of the keys to the food of tomorrow? Raw, seasonal produce, wild foraging, small-scale farming and artisanal know-how will be at the heart of the discussions and encounters.

Free and open to all, the festival is one of the best reasons to choose Megève for a gourmet getaway this autumn.

Exceptional Chefs Gathered in Megève

For this ninth edition, Toquicimes brings together several major names in gastronomy.

Chef Éric Frechon, three-Michelin-starred for fifteen years, will serve as the edition's patron alongside Emmanuel Renaut, the festival's co-founder.

Joining them is an impressive lineup of alpine chefs and leading culinary figures, including Marc Veyrat, Michaël Arnoult, recently awarded three stars at Les Morainières, and Swiss chef Franck Reynaud.

The festival will also welcome Professor David Khayat, a renowned oncologist, for a discussion on a topic that resonates strongly with contemporary concerns: the links between food and health.
